The Grant Park Conservancy is please to bring back PICK’N IN GRANT PARK BBQ and Music Festival for a third year.

The Grant Park Conservancy (GPC) began as a group of concerned Atlanta residents who recognized the need to protect Atlanta’s oldest park from the demands of increasing usage and declining maintenance. The Conservancy works independently as well as with the city of Atlanta to raise funds to carry out its core mission and to make this beautiful greenspace available to residents and visitors alike.

The Conservancy assists the city of Atlanta in maintaining the park. As the fourth largest park in the city, there is a lot of space to maintain. Volunteer groups generously donate their time and resources to maintenance projects including mulching, weeding, removing invasive plants, repairing and painting structures, picking up trash and more. These volunteers include individuals, clubs, corporations, fraternities, sororities and school groups of all ages.
