Florida Birding and Nature Festival, Tampa (Ruskin) FL, Oct 13-16, 2016. Focusing on birds and nature conservation, it will feature 25+ birding field trips, boat and kayak trips, trips for butterflies, herps, native plants, 40+ workshops, nature photography, and Expo. David Johnson, Global Owl Project and Carlton Ward Jr, National Geographic photographer and Florida Wildlife Corridor founder will keynote. Expected birds include roseate spoonbills, wood storks, limpkins, anhingas, Am. oystercatchers, black skimmers, purple gallinules, Am. bitterns, reddish egrets, tricolored herons, owls, woodpeckers, fall vireos and warblers and many more.
