Our 31st Christmas in the Pass is next weekend! Yeah!

Festivities will include a parade with members of the Pass Christian High School Band, an antique fire truck and Pass Christian volunteer firemen, followed by the selection of classic cars, a crew of Pass High alumni pirates, Pass Christian recreation dept. football players, of course, the Pass Christian elf troupe accompanying Santa and Mrs. Claus.

The parade will travel down Davis Street which will be lined with food and craft vendors. Santa will be available for photos at People’s Bank.

The family-friendly event will have activities for kids at the pavilion, including a special reading of at 7pm of “Pirate Night Before Christmas” by Will Koolsbergen, Pass High alumni and artistic director of the Pass Christian Theatre Project. Musical entertainment will be provided by Hadley Hill.

On Saturday, dogs will be dressed up in their best holiday garbs for the Paw Pawrade to be held War Memorial Park at 1pm. Prizes will be given for best dressed in the small, medium and large dog categories. Santa will also be available to have his photo taken with the dogs starting at 12:30.
